Honoring the late William Corey

One of my favorite photograhers, William Corey, just passed away. His brilliant pictures of Japanese gardens have been my inspiration on many days. The pictures capture the spirit of the gardens like I have never seen before. He leaves behind an amazing and rich legacy that I know will continue to inspire, amaze and captivate generations forever.

I hadn't heard of William Corey before, but I just peeked at his website and it's quite amazing. One photo called KotoIn (which he took in Kyoto) is the spitting image of a traditional tea ceremony room at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, Calif. My kids and husband take me there every Mother's Day. Thanks for bringing his work to my attention.
