Check out this newest feature on my blog. Each month, i will discuss a herb or spice that should be added to the diets of kiddos everywhere. Why? Think of it this way, says my partner in crime for this feature, the lovely and talented nutritionist Rebecca Katz - spices and herbs are like sunscreen for the INSIDE of your body. "Why: Kids have very sensitive taste buds, which is why they can develop taste preferences when they’re young. This is exciting, since herbs and spices provide another level of nutrient density to even the simplest of foods," she adds We want to give our kids the best life has to offer and that includes good eating habits all around - from eating well, to learning to cook, to understanding where food comes from and of course, my favorite topic - how to add flavor to food using herbs and spices.
